Your English Library in Geneva
The Library in English is a non-profit, English-language subscription library, managed by volunteers and open to interested readers of all nationalities. We have been serving the English-speaking community in the Geneva region since 1930.
The Library is financed solely by membership fees, book sales, and corporate and private donations. We are always pleased to receive donations of good quality second-hand English books, CDs and DVDs, to be sold at our book sales.
Dedicated volunteers maintain the Library. We would be pleased to have your help.
You can find us in the Emmanuel Church building, across rue de Monthoux from the Kempinski Hotel. Public paid parking is available under the Kempinski. The Monthoux stop for the No. 1 bus is nearby.
